Right now my truck is run with 3 in stock exhaust back to 2.5 (supposed to of been 3) with an x pipe and no muffs. Anyway will cutting my cats really make my truck that much louder or is it a myth?

You'll pick up some sound. If you want some big sound, add some full length headers.

:word: Every one thinks that cats are a big deal the used to be back in 94 but now thay are just about straight threw if you want some HP throw on some long tubes and if you want sound take your cats off but that is all it will do unles you
have an older truck

i agree the new cats are pretty high flow, getting more hp for removing them will be very minimal, you will just get a louder sound, i would suggest headers first, mostly long tubes.
