I'm looking for something I can mount a winch on. I have a brushguard but it's not winch compatible. I know I could just get a warn brushguard but I'm not looking to spend $1200. Anybody know any kind of brushguard or bumper I could put a winch on for around $600 or $700?

I have a NNBS, I have been considering the GoRhino grille guard that is winch capable. I am waiting to see more reviews on Rough Country's new winches before I make a decision.

I could not post the pic, but open the link and scroll all the way down and it shows a pic. I like this one because you can keep your tow hooks.

Average price is around $300.00 without the headlight guards.

front mount reciever?
This, you don't have to have a big obtrusive brush guard on the front of your truck, and have the ability to quickly transfer it front to back, or on a trailer.

On my Expedition, I had a front and rear Class III hitch. I bought a Draw-Tite Class III winch cradle from JC Whitney for $79. Mounted my MileMarker Winch to it. Ran power wires from the battery to the front and back bumpers with quick connect battery terminals so I could mount the winch front or back. Very handy and versitle.

Apparently Draw-Tite stopped making the winch mount I had but here is their website link:

You will have to get the 6495 winch plate and the 6980 Handle Kit.

Battery Disconnect plugs:

Hope this helps.

Rough country is reliable on all their other products. Seems like a hell of a deal to me.

Yeah, I like rough country. The one small issue I had was quickly resolved by their customer service. I would really like to go up in lift to their 7.5" from the 3" I have now. Their website says they are out of stock on the winches until the end of the month.

I looked at the front receiver as an option especially for the price, I just didn't like how it would have mounted with my bumper and having to cut out a hole for it. I see the pic of the NBS with the receiver came under the bumper which seems like a better choice but could not find any like that for the NNBS.

Bump - Looking specifically for the thread with the member that installed one of these and cut a whole in his front bumper to accommodate the front mount receiver (NBS). Can't seam to find anything on the net to specify which model's mount like this, and if there is a cardboard template to make the cuts on your bumper.
