is this possible? if i have two infinity perfect 10s, each 4ohms, can i wire them in series to an alpine M501? if so, how much would each sub be getting? amp is rated at: 550W x 1 RMS (2ohm @14.4V) 425W x 1 RMS (2ohm @12V) 225W x 1 RMS (4ohm @12V) advice appreciated.

I dont see why not. Since your subs are rated at 4 ohm you just take the 225 RMS watts and divide that by 2 which comes out to about 113 RMS watts that will be powering each sub.

P.S. Im almost 100% sure thats how it works but somebody correct me if Im wrong.
