I have two Kicker CVR10 dual 4ohm subs, in a subthump box. I want to know how to wire them into my Kicker 600.1 amp that is only 2ohm stable. I think if I run them in series and then parallel at the amp, I'll get the most out of the subs. Am I correct?? Please give me some advise and pics of wiring these up, subs and amp-thanks everyone.

If I'm not mistaken, I ran my VC's in parallel and then bridged at the amp. That could be a 1 ohm load though.

Yeah, that's a 1 ohm. What amp are you using?

Found this diagram and it's exactly how I've wired them-maybe I need to get a 1ohm stable amp- :hmm:

That diagram is correct. If you series the voice coil on each 4 ohm woofer, you get 8 ohms. Then you parallel the woofer's to get a 4 ohm mono load.

You mentioned a 1 ohm stable amp: Good luck. They're few and far between.

Im ordering my sub soon, 1 12" and it needs to be 1 ohm. I assume Id want to order the sub as a dual 2 ohm right?

BTW my amp is 1200 watts RMS at 1 ohm.
