I am a first time owner of a Chevy! My first truck was a 4runner that I loved and put a lot of hard work and sweat into but it was time for something new so… I recently purchased a Silverado Crew Cab with 40k miles on it. I have been lurking on here for quite a while learning all the information possible about lifts and all the modifications I’m looking to do towards my new truck. With that said, I’m hoping to have this build moving at a decently fast pace so let me know on the things you like or dislike. I am not easily offended since at the end of the day the truck is mine so your opinion is just that, an opinion.

October 2014:

I started off my mod list with removing chrome door handles for black textured ones, 20% window tint all on windows, hardwiring my radar, and switches for my upcoming lights and a sub kill switch since I have a 5yr old that rides in the truck.

This past weekend, I installed my tow mirrors and the NFAB steps...

Sub'd. Great looking 4Runner. I've always liked that body and yours looks done just about exactly how I'd build one. Plans sound good for the silvy too

i thought i recognized that username haha

i like how the switches seem to match the same oem green lighting. very nice.

its killing me being so busy right now and probably not able to help as much as i would like to. just keep me updated and i'll see what i can do to work around my schedule and get some wrenching time in with your lift kit.

trust me man i know how you feel. i've got a MASSIVE parts pile, practically an entire engine worth of parts in boxes in my living room waiting to be reassembled for my honda. was hoping to finish it before school started but now my free time is 0 and extra cash is non existent for the few remaining things that need to be done before i put it back together. so its been put on hold till winter break.

you'll make it another couple days LOL
