My buddy just got a z71 tahoe... I believe its a 2004.

Anyways, he's not the brightest when it comes to offroad tech, and me being a toyota guy can't really help him much with his chevy.

He has gone from not wanting a bracket style lift kit (per my advice) to torsion bar crank and shackle lift (funny statement considered his coiled rear end.) to now wanting a bracket lift again.

On yotas, a cheap lift is as simple as balljoint spacers and shackles... Is there anything that simple for GM?

He will pretty much just be using this thing at the dunes. No real wheeling per se, its just to damn big to get anywhere real treacherous.

Could he run 33" tires with just a leveling kit? Is there a small lift kit say, 1.5"-2"? Does anyone make ball joint spacers for chevys?

Thanks for the help,

-mike

(And he isnt on here asking himself because he says he never could figure out message boards. )

Easy enough.

Buy SuspensionMaxx 1.5" Spacers for the rear.
But Ford Torison Keys for the front and crank them
