I just joined, lurked a few thread and haven't found the answer I am looking for, plus im super lazy and want a direct answer lol.

I have a 2004 Chevy 2500HD, Crew Cab. 6.0 4L80, 4WD.

What will it take to make 35's fit?

I am hoping with a leveling kit, spare tire removed, trimming, and 2" spacers all around I can make them fit.

Anyone have a set up close to this?

removing spare tire isn't gonna do much. and spacers will make you rub more. using factory wheel's i'm guessing? that offset is gonna help you fit them easier but there's a small chance you may rub on a tie rod or control arm or sway bar. what specific sizes are you looking at? do you HAVE to have 35's? you would see just as much benefit if not more from a 33 in most cases and save $ and headache.

slap on some 305's and crank the stock keys and call it a day

cognito arms, green keys, one inch rear blocks, 295s, not quite 315s but mine are not far off from what i've meausred a lot of 315s at, aftermarket wheels

Lil trimming and hammer, only has rubbed once but its pretty close to rear of fender sometimes.

hmmm... how are the cv angles with cranked keys up front on an HD? i cranked my stock keys pretty far and my rear is still pretty jacked compared to the front... i dont see how yall are adding 2" blocks in the rear and sitting level with a t-bar crank

mine were pretty gross I had them cranked about halfway with keys, I also have the spacer removed from grill to bumper removed. I was tired of putting front end components in it every month so I did full 6.5" uncranked and never looked back. I love the look but hate the ride/cost of parts. I dont think mine ever sat leveled anyway I use my truck so it sits weird with a load mine prob had two inches of rake.

i had half worn 35" hankook mt's on mine with just a crank in the front. with 17x9 with 0mm offset. it only rubbed the left inner fender right where the ebrake cable pushes it out alittle when i turn into a parking lot.

i picked up a set of half ton keys and blocks, then some ubolts from a bigger truck(cab and chassis truck or a 1 ton i forget) at a friends junkyard for free. $30 for front shock extender brackets on ebay.

the 1/2 ton keys with bolts just under half turned in raised it 2 and1/4" over fully cranked stock keys.

now i have a snow plow on it with new 35's and it rubs when the plow is up and turning. im gonna just throw a body lift on next.
