I must say...I dunno why GM went with the "euro" tail lights on the Denali this year, but whatever.

07 Escalade > 07 Tahoe > 07 Yukon ... IMHO

 

They all look like they have downs syndrome. 07 Escalade = 07 Tahoe = 07 Yukon < All European SUV's. GM's trucks and SUV's have lost their tough, mean-lookingness to the luxury Euro 'utes, and almost every other American truck and suv.

 

So, the ML, the X5/3, Cayenne/Toureg/Q7 and the RR/LR3 really look agressive to you?

Before, I was pondering the idea of buying a Z71 Hoe instead of a truck after driving my moms Tahoe but now, I would never consider buying these new style hoes.

I've seen the Tahoes and Escalade. Yet to see the GMCs though. But I think the Escalade would look so much better without those gay vents on the front fenders :imo

Down8, the ML does. Rovers don't look like they're crying so IMO, yes they do look meaner than the NBS Hoe/Kon/Lade

Related: there was a commercial wherein Jerry Bruckhiemer was giving new Yukons to PDs, during CSI, and the Yukon in full Police gear had fender flares that looked awesome. Very angular, like the Canyon/Colorado. I'm looking for pictures now....

Found (rather, made) some images of the new flares for the Yukon. Turns out these vehicles were made just for CSI, so there's a small chance the flares might be different once they arrive for real.

Okay, cheapy 320 vs CSI Denali. My turn.

SUV w/ down syndrome vs. aggressive, fast, good handling, AND yes, sporty SUV.

 

I wasn't arguing in favor of the new Yukon being aggressive - it's definitely not. I was just saying the Americans are following the femme-ness of the Europeans - of which, there are not really any aggressive looking SUVs, except the MB Geländewagen.

We may be differing on our definition of aggressive, though. Anything that can't go offroad (a la that gorgeous Brabus or the Cayenne) isn't aggressive. And the ML500 looks exactly like the ML350 above.

Aggressive is defined by a "mean" grille/headlight/front facia combination.

I traded in the Tahoe today and got a much more "Aggressive" F250.

An aggressive automobile looks like it's going to attack you, not like it's going to go jump in mud like a Gwagen.

I'd agree the F250 is more aggressive looking than a Tahoe - b/c it does look like it's ready to get dirty.
