2014+ Sierra /Silverado Level only - Leveling Kit Thread

Awesome thread. Here's my predicament, I'm going to be throwing on a zone 2 inch level but was first eyeing the RC 2.5 for my 15 Sierra all terrain. A couple wheel guys/shops around my area insist 295/55R20s will need trimming and will rub.

With either a 20x9 +14 fuel maverick, or 20x9 +1 fuel vapor, would I be better off going 285/55R20 or 295/55R20? Would I need the RC 2.5 if I wanted to go 295? What would be the best offset wheel to clear these tires? I don't want to be cutting anything or any rubbing going on. I also don't want to be nose high, I use my truck and don't want it looking saggy if any weight is in the back. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

No rub whatsoever I'll get better pics maybe this weekend when I wash her and install some more mods

There's no way you don't rub on stock offset wheels and a leveling kit. No way in hell, not calling you a liar but a 32.7X11.6 will have rubbing even with a more negative offset. I would look at sway bars and UCAs, there's just no way it's not rubbing.

I mean I'm running a 33x12.50 with no rub but any 35" tire I don't buy without and sort of heavy trimming to squeeze by. Dumb in my opinion just lift it correcty.
I've seen a few trucks with 33x12.50s with claimed no rubbing I can believe that but that is cutting it close! 35s are just too big to run in any GM truck because of the square wheel wells without a substantial lift 6 inches plus. My old 2006 had a 6.5 BDS lift and 35x12.50s and at full crank and a bump it would have a touch of rub at the inner wheel well corner even with a tad of trimming. But those wheel wells were definitely smaller than the 2014+ trucks

I had 295 trails on my stock 20's and didn't rub at all. Now on my 20x9's with 0 offset I barely rub in reverse while turning. Figure if I through in a .5" top spacer I'd clear fine. Running 2" Zone right now.
Interesting. No matter who I ask they all say 295s will rub. Not much but some. I'm gonna most likely do a 2.25 ready lift but also was gonna do a 2 inch zone before I decided on the ready lift. I want to do a 295/55r20 with most likely a fuel maverick at +14. I saw a YouTube review of one guy with a 15 Silverado and a 295/55r20 and he had rubbing with 2 inches of lift and had to put a .5 spacer on to clear it. His wheels were +1

Anybody have any experience or know anything on the RC 3.5" kit with UCA's? Worth the extra few hundred buck if it helps angles and ride quality....Had Cognito UCAs on my 04 Sierra Denali with lift keys and they didn't seem to make a difference as far as helping my angles, but I just wanted to see if anyone had experience on these newer models...
Do not do that kit without angled UCAs, it will destroy your ball joints in no time. My buddy's ball joints were actually bluing/anodizing after 1000 miles from the friction and heat it was causing. He got the new arms and it made a huge difference. Absolutely don't do that kit without new arms

Thanks for showing me that, hadn't seen any negative reviews until that one, any recommendations?
Just google that lift on a silverado. Nothing but bad reviews. It's too much on the front end it's a massive level, not a real lift. My buddy's cv axles have been shot after being replaced twice. Ball joints destroyed. Do a 2.5 RC kit or 4 inch lift from bds or zone or a RC 5 inch.
