Im planning of doing a 2.5" front an 1" rear on my 2014 Sierra. Going to be using the stock 17 inch rims for now. What size tires would work best. I was thinking 285/70r17's any input or pics would be appreciated.
285s will look small. Not even fully a 33 and narrow. I say 295/70/17s. I also like the look of the red truck with the 33x12.50x17 a few posts up, but figure that must rub on UCAs and sway bar when turning.

Just installed the motofab 2.5 under strut spacer. I still have the stock tires and rims but not for long!

How are your front and rear measurements now? Measuring mine stock, there is almost 2" difference. Thinking 2.5" level, on mine anyway, would have front slightly higher...

Before I put it on front was about 6.5 and back was about 9.5. I also measured on gravel drive way so it might be a little off. After install front raised to about 9. Just looking at it it looks pretty level.

17 model with 2.5" level kit up front with 3" blocks in back. truck looks more level than the picture shows. I would not level the front without adding an inch to the back. I don't much care for the look when the back is squatting. Going to change the tires next week to Terra Grappler G2s. Trying to figure out the size needed.

What's your offset on the rims??
I'm looking to get new rims and tires for mine but like you I don't want any running or cutting.

Traded my 2015 for a 2017 yesterday. I kept my tires and wheels off the old truck. 295/60r20 Toyo Mt with a 2.5" leveling kit. I'm really happy with the look of this truck, just needs tint and a few small things. View attachment 799577
Hey bud I have a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 Z71 similar to the 15 Silverado you had. just wanted to ask how much "persuasion" did you have to give the truck to make the 295/60R20 fit so they don't rub the wheel well or inner suspension much? did you really only just zip tie the felt liner back?
