What set up are you using shock/spring wise and how much lift? Did you have to cut the shock tabs off of the UCA's or no?

Looks good!
Thanks ! im learning as I go
Cutting the dual mount tabs off the upper control arms was my decision I didn't have to but they were in the way, I also cut the droop stop.
I am rumning the
QA1 DS701 shock
Eibach 1200lb/750lb Spring

The DS701 has enough length/travel for the lift? 6" rcx? I have a mcgaughys set at around 8" and I'm really thinking about doing the coilovers.

I haven't read through all 52 pages. But I have a couple questions. Sorry if they have been answered. I'm looking to start road racing my Silverado. Its got a 3/5 drop on it now. Was looking to go with a coilover front suspension for adjustability. I'd like to keep my 3" drop up front. Does anyone make an adjustable coilover that fits this kit? Something I can adjust preload, rebound on? And would I be able to keep the 3" drop. (I'm very new to suspension) so sorry if these are dumb questions. Thanks.

How is your current 3" drop accomplished?

The only thing this needs is the factory LCA, and yes you can easily achieve 3" of drop with coilovers. I prefer QA1 shocks (but other brands will work fine) with this kit, and they offer single and double adjustables in the right size. The preload of the spring can also be adjusted no problem. It sounds like this is a swap you would really like! Feel free to email me at rkwayne@gmail.com if you want to purchase some or have any more questions.

Hello, after reading thru all this my main concern is if the mounting point on the LCA for the coilover strong enough for the vehicle weight ? I ask because I have read on other forums and been advised from fabricators that offer coilover kits that the lower arm is not strong enough. My truck is a 2007 2500HD Classic, Crew cab long bed with a Fab Four bumper and a winch. Those two together weigh around 450-475 lbs. Total truck weight is a approximately 7000 lbs. I just want to be sure before moving forward on a project like this. Thank you.
