I have Airlift SlamAIR tow assist bags, no probs. I run a 285/40 in the rear on a 22x10 and its not even close to touching...

They make an application specifically for the 4/6, look it up, I dont think it'd have problems with a 7" drop in back...

Thanks, I will look it up..

yea, get AirLift, i've got their Slam Air kit on my truck now now and love it. they've got all types of air controllers too. I've got the load controller II which is good enough for me.

Do you have each side on its own gauge im guessing, does it have 2(front/ back) or 4(F/B and Side/Side) needles??

i'm thinking about getting it for my 7 in drop also. will it still ride at my static height when deflated? thats really what i want and then fill them up when the ride is gonna be rough? superchargedSS how much did u spend in the setup? did u install urself?
Summit has the cheapest price for the SlamAIR setup. 59103 I believe was the part # I used, but I think its only for up to a 4 or 6" drop. I paid $165-170 shipped for it and my buddy installed it for nothing. Very easy install. I use shrader valves behind my gas cap.

I just put on a McGaughys notch and Air assist but I got a good deal on the air assist and notch. I would have used the SlamAir like the other guys if I didn't happen to find this setup.

yea, just each side on its own gauge. AirLift makes kits for all sizes of drops so your set up in the rear will be a little different.

when you do install them your suppose to take measurements at ride height bewteen the fender and the center of the wheel. then jack up the truck and put the frame on stands, pull the wheels, then jack up the axle until the fender-to-center of wheel measurement is the same as it was at ride height. Then your ready to mount the backets and bags.

i'm pretty sure AirLift says not to run them deflated. a 10psi min. is recommended.

i installed my kit myself and wasn't that hard all all the only trouble i had was cause my jack sucked and was too short so har to kinda rig some stuff to get the truck jacked up etc...

yea, the purpose of the slamair kit and really all of AirLIft's kits in to prevent sagging suspenion in the rear when towing/hauling things as well as to prevent bottoming out.

there are all type of slam air kits for different ammounts of drop so its not just for 4/6. i've got helper bags for my 2/4 kit.
