confused.. most that put tablet remove head unit all together. but ur just using yours as a giant mp3 player? but all that aside. i like the idea of how you did it. although losing the stock hvac vents is odd?

are you going to use it just to play music? and how is the quality from bluetooth?> seems it would be better if u ran a usb port or atleast a microphone jack.

well its obvious my headunit does not have bluetooth nor have i heard the quality from bluetooth to headunit. lol. still wouldnt work for what i want. because my headunit dont have blue tooth. lol
imo paint it flat black and leave rest of interior stock. im sure their is flat black in there somewhere. black goes with everything. lol

i like it. mostly because its not a ipad. lol. not saying im android fanboy. i just wanted to see something different. and the fact that i want to do something alot like what your doing. and cannot afford a ipad?

you said getting bluetooth for your computer. do u mean like a bluetooth module to plug into the truck so it can send info to the tablet? info on this? ive seen a little about some of this just not sure what all its capable of.

alrighty. never mind. thought you was getting the bluetooth obd2 scanner tool. so you could run the app on ur tablet. imo if i had a tablet in my truck with bluetooth id be running that app. seems awesome

apps like 5 bucks iirc. and u can get the obd2 tool for about 15-20 bucks. would be worth it to add that little bit more function to the tablet.

alot of different obd2 modules to buy. just go amazon type in obd2 bluetooth.

u have me shopping for a tablet. bday coming up

but keep going back to same thing. i have a double din touch screen with navigation already. so other then looking "cool" i have no point at all to do this.
my headunit already does better then the tablet will. considering i wouldnt have wifi for the tablets navi to work off of.

i have 256mb data everymonth. lol... smallest package they had. im cheap. dont make enough money/nor see a need to get a bigger data plan. usually use it at home on wifi.
