Leveling Kit and Tire Size?

Hey

I am new to the forum and do not know much about lifts, leveling kits, or tire sizes. I'm not wanting to break the bank", but I do want to get rid of the "rake" and to put the biggest tires I can on the stock 18" rims. Is the RC 2" Leveling kit a good place to start? If so, what size tire?

Thanks.

Thanks, not many pics tho ... i guess some got deleted.

I'm sure there are a lot of questions like this, but I have researched a good bit and have seen many different set ups. I would appreciate some direct feedback if possible from some one that has been in my position.

I like the 295 70R 18 Nitto Terra Grapplers, but will that work with a 2" RC leveling kit?

Here's some pics of my truck, I'm running the 295/70-18 trail grapplers on a rough country 2" level plus .5" level spacers on top of the struts. I had to trim a little for the tires the last pic gives you an idea of what I cut. Check out the topguncustomz website they have the 2.5" level kits for a pretty reasonable price. Good luck getting your setup!

2" rc will not level your truck firsts off and with some trimming you can run 35s on stock wheels(I did). I have 3.25" in front right now. Same setup as when I had these

word i had a 3" total performance on my 09 with 35 12.50 18 grapplers also

2" RC completely levels my truck. Every truck is a bit different but a safe bet is 2.25 or 2.5 kits.
im not gona lie i doubted you for a minute. i had a 2" put on my truck when i first bought it and i swear it was nose diving and did not set level, but dang man your truck does set dead level and looks great i guess every truck is different.

I bought the RC leveling kit... Gave me a little over 2" in the front and came with the 1" blocks in the rear. 4 new shocks came with the kit as well... I clear 35's easy as pie on factory 17's... 33's I initially put on looked small.. So I sold them to buy the 35" Toyo Open Country M/T's I have now... No trimming needed AT ALL! Not even on the lower front valence.. That's a 2003 of course... Some guys on this forum curse RC for their products.. I've had nothing but good experience with their products on all 3 vehicles I've installed their products on...
