I have Belltech Nitro drop shocks on the front and Belltech Nitro Active shocks on the rear. These are the original designed Nitros about five years old.
They have always been a bit on the stiff side but with 245/70/16 tires on the OEM wheels, the ride was tolerable and the truck handled great in the turns.
After switching from 16" wheels to the 20's with 275/45 tires it's a lot stiffer/rougher ride... which I expected. I'm also worried I may loose the tires contact in the rear while cornering on slightly bumpy roads under acceleration. (I may be old but I still enjoy driving)
Any suggestions on shocks that will give me a smoother/softer ride?
