Just wait. I did the rc 2in on my 08 and on my 15. I hated the ride on my 15. Idk what the deal was.

I keep hearing that, that’s why I was really questioning to go with the 2” level by RC or just wait till I can get a nice 4-6” that’ll ride good.
Might as well wait, thats time and the cost of an alignment saved from not buying and installing a leveling kit if you plan to lift later. As well not leveling will maintain a little better fuel mileage to help you save for that lift even faster.

I have a 2.5in leveling kit on my truck, but I also got new upper control arms that have more droop stop clearance and better ball joint angle for leveled trucks to keep the ride nice, as I dont feel the need to lift this truck since I got tired of climbing in and out of my last truck.... but I'm not ruling out a 4-5in lift down the road on this one.

With levels on NNBS what size block do you guys add (if any) in the rear?

2" is dang near level, 2.5" is either level or slightly higher in the front, in my experience. Anything above that would be a bad idea so I don't see any "level" where you'd want to add a block :imo:

measure your fenders and the difference front/ rear will tell you what it takes do get YOUR truck level. Different trucks sit a little different based on how much the springs have sagged and how the truck has been used.

my truck has a 2.5in up front and a 1in taller block in the rear, it sits .25in taller in the rear. which is perfect, I hated having the rear sit lower any amount.

I have a 12’ 1500 4wd. I have a new 8in superlift spacer kit has 3/4 of an inch of rake in the front how could I level it completely flat.

7-9 in struts?
1” spacers on the bottom?

Do a 4" cognito/zone/fabtech/cst/etc for the "best ride" to clear 33's. Should ride factory or better. Your level/BL will ride fine. I'd throw in some new UCA's to make it ride better, but even without it should be fine.

A really tall level (3+) will ride poorly, and most likely wear everything out.
So, for SUVs ('09 Yukon), does this include the RC 3.5" kit? I see the ones you mention above (for SUVs) seem to all be similar to the RC kit. Does anyone have any experience with the RC 3.5" kit? Really don't was to waste $600, just apply that toward a (most Likely) BDS 4" kit. I had a BDS on my 04 Silveraydo and really liked it.

It would be the same for the suv or truck. I still can’t under stand why people install those 3.5-4in spacer kits. Even with their “upgraded control arms”

Shit ride and shit angles.

Save up and get the bds. Not that much more money.

it seams like alot of the 4-5" kits run new arms, crossmembers and huge ass spacers in the front. even alot of the 6" ones.

I believe that’s just a stretched out leveling kit. I’d wait to get a full 4 inch lift kit with dropped cross memebers for a real good ride. Idk if you can crank up the nnbs trucks with struts like you could an nbs with tbars but if you can I’d just do that and wait to get a bds.

Spacers aren’t bad if it has the proper crossmember drop..

Most of the better companies go this route for their basic/mid range lift kits in order to keep the total cost down. I ran the large CST upper spacers that were included with the CST 4” a-arms/spindles/crossmember “4wd” lift kit with both OEM and Bilstein 5100 adjustable lift struts for the first 6-7 years without any issues. Swapping over to the Fox 2.5 remote reservoir coil overs that replace the CST upper spacers and OEM coils/whichever struts was a night and day difference though.

Im curious how the new RC 2.5 coilovers are going to be

Based on their track record of making shitty parts and shocks, I would say their quality will reflect their cheap price tag like most of their stuff.

Night and day difference as in softer ride? My front is stiff as a board with the strut spacer and bilsteins on the highest setting. I know that doesn’t help but I’m pretty sure I’d rub if I took them down a notch.

Yeah I had 5100s before. Can’t even compare them to coil overs.

Think I might go ahead and drop some coin on them then. Ive grown to hate speed bumps and potholes.

I look forward to them lol.

If your angles are shit and you don’t have higher travel ucas, you will still run into down travel rough issues.

But with good angles coil overs are mint.
