springs, are better for handling but if u tow or carry anything then ur better off doing the shackles and hangers.

 

:word:. Rear leafs are performance oriented and will probably give you a stiffer ride. A S/H setup retains your stock ride quality.

 

id get shackles and hangers unless you are planning on going lower ever, in which case you will have to reinstall stock hangers. and you wont wanna do that after you find out how much of a pain it is

 

Thanks guys it looks like s/h it's what I need. I guess I'm gonna have to have a shop install them for me since I red they're a pain in the neck to remove them. how much do you guys think i should pay for installaition??

Spend the money you would have paid on installation and invest in the needed tools if you don't have them. They are fairly straightforward to install if you read and understand the directions. It may take a weekend but you'll gain some experience and know how. :hack:

How is that true? A spongier softer spring can handle more of a load versus a stiffer leaf spring?????
