Where to mount a large spare tire on 2D yukon or full size blazer?

I have a 92 Yukon, 2door 4x4 with 35" tires (for now). I don't currently have a spare mounted on it but would like one.

It would be great if there was a way to mount a tire like a jeep or full size Bronco, or maybe a roof mount? Any ideas?

Build a mount to fit in the receiver hitch on the rear, build a rear bumper with a swing out, or get a low profile roof rack.

Yep those are about your only options....if you do not have the means to build one yourself save your $$ and grab a hitch mounted Tirerack...slides into a reciever and swings out of the way to access the hatch/tailgate.

depending on the size/weight of tire, you might want to re-think the roof rack option...not much fun trying to get 100lbs off the roof then the flat back up. Just my 2 cents...
