This. Unless it's a buggy or dedicated trail rig led bars should never, EVER be mounted on the roof.

worth it to never turn it on, other than taking pictures of it, i never even use my light bar since it would blind oncoming traffic, unless you live in bumfuck Egypt they are pointless

the matching grille insert for the bumper slot was like $75 and the light bar was $120 so i chose light bar

 

I think the last 10 times at least I have been out camping or offraoding here in AZ it has been at night the entire time, so maybe I just see it a little more necessary, if the truck really just never sees night time dirt or ventures then I can totally understand your pov

Ill have a roof mounted one and one down in the lower part. Mine came with wires coming off the light but that's all I got all the parts to do it, but can I go from the 16 gauge wire to the stock fog light wiring?


I also gotta figure out how Imma mount my light on the front and yes mine were also free...

Ok I see the ones where the rubber gus is and its wide enough foe the bar to fit.

 

The plastic gusset there on the right on the chrome part is where Imma try to mount it

 

I got it installed today. 2 self tappen screws wired in to my fog lights. I like it super bright and nice addition to the truck here's some pics:

Both sets of leds shine threw the grill gaps and center on the logo.

Got my 50 inch today and roof mounts.

 

Local with the 50 on roof. Id never do it, but, he is the only one around here with it so ill give him props

 

Replaced the factory fogs with 4" LEDs and I have a 24" and 52" waiting to be mounted also.

 

what mounts do you guys use ? just got a 50 incher out of a trade

 

I just can't get into the roof ones. The curved ones that sit close to the roof are a little better.

 

Im putting my 50 inch on my brothers boat so we can have some light running trotlines and stuff. Plus we bow fish a lot.
