I had to replace a idler arm on a 92 Gmc, bought a Moog idler to replace stock. It had a lifetime replacement part warrentee. 1992 was a 2 bolt to the frame, 93 had three bolts to frame. I also ran 33x12.5 tires, the width of tire didn't help the idler arm, either.

 

all idler arms are prone to fail on fullsize trucks. your lucky if you get 30k miles out of one even on stock wheels/tires.

 

previous owners replaced the ones on my 90 k1500 with moog if i remember correctly. I ran 35x12.50 and the idler arm is still going strong after around 30,000 HARD abused, "my truck can do anything" high school miles.
