5.7 deleted oil cooler lines, new radiator recommendations

I tried the search function, and I couldn't find any existing threads on doing this.

I have a 97 5.7 Silverado.

I deleted the oil cooler lines because they were puking oil. I saved them to fix them myself at a later date if I find the motor actually needs them. So far, I have had zero issues without oil cooler lines.

Here's my dilemma:

My radiator now has a crack next to the top engine oil cooler line fitting in the plastic. I googled it, and it seems pretty common.

As I am looking up radiators, I find that the one with just the tranny cooler on the passenger side is a lot cheaper than the one with the engine oil cooler line on the drivers side.

I am inclined to buy the one WITHOUT the engine oil cooler in the drivers side of the radiator cap.

Has anyone deleted the engine oil cooler lines and regretted it?

I don't want to buy the radiator with the engine cooler line in it if I never actually reinstall the engine cooler lines, as this is just another area for the radiator to be stressed and crack again.

I would appreciate any helpful input here.

Thanks everyone!

As an update, I found a bigger capacity radiator from Advance that I bought on sale, and it came with tranny and engine oil cooler lines.
