Adjusting caster...? for all you experts....

Ok i have had a little problem over the past few years with the alignment problems on my 06 Chevrolet Crew Cab it has a static drop consisting of a Mcgaughys 4/6 kit, 2" spindle, 2" spring then a 6" flip kit and still running stock 17's with 40k miles. Well i have had the front end checked 2 times over the past 2 years, both shops say nothing wrong all looks ok. Well i have asked a few questions on this board before and also posted a few pics of my tires and how they wore on the front end they got so bad the first time that the tire went flat it completly wore threw the cords and all because of the what i think of bad caster angle. One shop told me it was do to low tire PSI, i was like what ever, so i got 2 new tires for the front and about a month ago the 2new tires started to wear again on the insides well i was going to get the front end chacked again but the shop could not get my truck on there alingment machine so i had the tires rotated, so i have been meaning to take it elsewear to get another check but then the holidays and so i just waited.

Well last week i took my truck to the dealer to have the terrible clunking steering shaft lubed or replaced, which luckly they replace this time FINALLY, and during there 21 point inspection they found my inner tie rod ends bad, AND i did go back and checked them myself and they were abnormaly loose, so i scheduled to have them replace today at the dealer under me extended warranty, which they did no problem, so they had to relaligned the front end so they set the toe and camber and caster but (qoute) "unable to adjust caster due to drop kit" i asked what that means and the mechanic told me that when he "tried to adjust the caster to correct level and the computer would not show any adjustment and would not stay" this is exactly what said and he told me that i need to call the manufactor of the drop kit and see what they say i need to do.

So now im not 100% what to do, i really trust the guys at the dealer they seamed real honest since i also told them i am also a mechanic as well and i guess thats why they asked to check the tie rod ends.

Someone one here told me i need to buy that Camber/Caster alignment kit made by DJM its a Cam lock plates, so is this the way i need to got or what?

Or should i not worry about the caster since the toe is good and the camber is good on the alingnment, i have read that caster dont wear the tires.

Well they told me (the dealer) that every thing was correct on the alignment but the caster, even the work order said caster could not be set do to drop kit, im wondering if they didn't mean the camber could not be set. They did not give me a print out of the alingment so im not sure what to believe. But they did replace my inner tie rod end's and i see those being loose can wear tires out but damn i only have 40k miles on my truck and i bought it in Nov of 05, and i installed the drop kit in Mar of 06.

So maybe i need to buy the tie rod flip kit so i can save wear and tear on my tie rod ends.

I just went out and looked at my tie rod ends they look completly level to the ground....

So i have figured out that caster has no effect on tire wear which is good. And hopefully the new inner tie rod ends will fix my front tire wear problems. And i did not get a print out of the front end alignment. And the Dealer has never said anything about voiding my warranty because of my drop.

And im running Doetsch shocks on all 4 corners. Front is not bouncey either rides and drives smooth.
