Dc is deff where it's at, great choice.

Iraggi used to be top of the line until a few months ago it all down downhill. Don't know what happened with Dom.
What happened was you weren't paying attention for the last 10 years. They were never top of the line, they've always sucked. A very small percentage actually stay working, and those that do work, don't do what they claim. Customer service isn't even a word to use, he never answers the phone, seldom answers emails, and doesn't make good on promises he makes. He'll gladly take your money though.

Anywho, I haven't been hearing anything bad about DC Power. They seem to be the new boner. XS Power makes solid stuff and I've been happy with HO Alts and Mechman. Excessive Amperage I've seen about 90% satisfaction.

How will a new hi-performance (DC) alternator work with an underdrive pulley set-up? Would it hinder or help it? Has anyone ever ran both at once. I am just checking to make sure but my common sense says it would only help having a better alt. Right?

You probably wont get the right charge if I'm not mistaken, my friend had the same-thing happen to him and he ended up taking the underdrive pulley's off to have the alternator power. I will text him and update when he reply's.

I've got a dc 270a Alt and not a complaint out of it yet. Was charging low at one point but I forgot to tighten a few wires up and it's back to being 100% now.
he was having some personal issues and then poof gone. Even the guy redoing his website cant get a hold of him. Sad thing too. Dom has always done my right. i even have a dual alt kit to go on in the spring.

He's been doing a lot more people wrong since as long as I've had to deal with his product, since 2004.

true I wont argue with that. I recognize your screen name. Dom always did that. he'd start screwing people aqnd then would pop up for a few months and start having good customer service and then back off the map. I caught him in a good time with my dual alt kit and got a stupid deal on it.

Alright I got the alternator in and it looks damn impressive. They sent me 3 6" decals too which I thought was quite nice. I will probably be installing it this weekend, hopefully with the big 3 upgrade as well.

dc power and mechman are the top 2 nowadays both with great idle numbers
