Tukn4... I have my 2004 2wd gmc sierra ecsb I already have mcghys spindles 16+ I have a set of belltech 3'' drop coils lying around if i install the belltechs would i have to much negative camber? Or would it be best to cut the factory springs for a total of 4 inch drop in the the front? I drive the truck 80 miles a day..
you will have a better ride with the belltech springs and McG spindles than with the spindles and cut factory springs. as far as too much camber, that's dependent on wheel and tire combination. you may need to add camber in order to clear the fender. If your question is can you get in spec with a 5" front drop, the answer is yes.

I have a 1966 c10 swb my wheel base is 115 track width is f63.1 and r61 I was looking at swaping frames with 2003 Tahoe they have wb of 116 and but track widths is f65 and r66
I was wondering if I buy one of these kits and bring my track width down to 63 and put c10 body on the frame what will it work like I think or will I have problems when I bag it

I figured the wb is gonna be easy to move up an inch and the shorten rear end or buy a shorter one reason I'm wanting to do this it I can have 5.3ls disk breaks and they will handle bags easier than my c10 frame for 2000-3000 minus every part I sell

Any 01-06 tahoe/suburban/avalanche/yukon chassis is torsion bar with pitman/idler arm steering and it is shitty.

You need to get a coil spring rcsb 99/06 frame.

Front bumper to back of the cab on the '66 is 104 3/4". Front bumper to the center of the front wheel is 31 3/4". center of the front wheel to the back of the cab is 73.

Center of the front wheel to the back of the cab on the 99-06 silverado is 77.09". Wheel base would be 119.02".

So you can remove 4" from under the cab on the frame to make the wheel base 115" and also keep all rear suspension behind the 66 cab because 77"-4"=73". Use either nfamus, Unparalleled customs, or the new full stone fab kit to get you back to 63" track width because all these kits narrow you at least 2" overall.

You get rack and pinion steering, and the frame is narrower than the SUV Chassis.

This is my recommendation if you're going to completely frame swap the truck. If you say that you're going to use the tahoe frame anyway because it is available to you, then you might as well build a 3/4 frame because the suv chassis is shitty to deal with. been there, done that.

Wow Tukn4s, thanks for helping out so many people with good info.

Ive just picked up an 02 Escalade, 2 wheel drive, with torsion bar front suspension. Its going to be my daily driver, but I want to put it on air.
Don't really want to get in to swapping it on to a truck frame (its my daily and I have other big projects)
Any recommendations for me?
Spindles?McG's 33004 or BT 2508?
I am hoping that if I put on spindles, flip the upper arms and maybe raise the mounting points if I have to to get the alignment correct. I can get it decently low on 22s. Haven't looked at what to do with the steering yet, what issues will I encounter there?

The back looks messy, but I am sure I can figure something out to get it down a bit and put bags in.

Let me help you get his attention @Tukn4s

But IIRC the front suspension is the same on SUVs and trucks for 99-07C (maybe others as well BTSOOM) so you just buy a kit for a 2wd torsion bar truck.

I want to same the rear suspension is a similar situation, but i really have no idea. However, some simple mods and most kits could probably be made to work. I think the real "difficult" part on the rear is going to be tubbing the interior.

Any 01-06 GM SUV has the same chassis regardless of drivetrain.

Front suspension is all the same, you'll have to install a front kit or suffer horrible geometry.

Rear suspension is also shitty because the factory lower links are mounted underneath the frame and there is no room to move them outside the factory frame because of the wheels being so close the frame.

So you will need to either not care about laying frame, or install a fuel cell behind the axle to allow the suspension to be moved inside the frame rails.

If you want to just be bagged, you can simply swap in bags in place of the rear springs and cut the bump stops off the frame in the rear. I'd still recommend a front kit for dependability and driving comfort.

I gotta 00 silverado bagged on some verde 22s. I picked up a nfamus kit because I got a pretty good deal on it but I got to thinking I honestly don’t need it Bc I’m running only 22s & I dont plan on running bigger till I get a daily (Baton Rouge roads are killer) . I was thinking jus sell the kit & get a drop spindle & the moog uppers to help with camber. Would I need any sort of BS kit ? Just wanna get an idea before I sell the nfamus kit lol

I saw you had the Nfamous kit for sale on FB Marketplace....and yeah, BR roads ARE killer.
I have Spindles, 3" coils, and Moog RK 80826 Uppers flipped. My camber is VERY good.

Would you know who I can get to bag my truck without raping me?

Kevin cavalier, owner of endless metal fab, in New Orleans will be the best person for you to go talk to in your area.
