because he used the the motor, tranny, computer, and everything out of the NBS dmax. he didn't have to redo the majority of the wiring. It was just all pulled as one harness and plugged back in in the OBS. So it was probably easier than it might be for you.

There's been quite a few swaps done with NBS seats, even a good thread on GMT400.com with how to drill the brackets but I haven't seen much with dash swaps, I hope to do it myself as the stock dash in my truck is becoming pretty brittle.

 

there is a guy on mautofied with a 91 ext cab that has a full swap except for the back seat. Ill see if I can find it

Bro i know this is an old dead ass thread. But i have an 04' silverado and im about to buy a 96 2 door tahoe. And i am seriouslt planning on swaping everything from the dash forward. The only wuestion i have is does the dash mount the same as the origial or would i have to pissinly weld in a nee mount location fore the dash and under dash AC components
