If it came from a 1/2 ton suburban it will be a 27 spline unit.
Like I told you in the PM the 241's from behind a 4l80e will not work with your 4l60e output shaft.
The c is just the model GM used. All the d-drop and p-drop, 27 and 32 spline 241's in GM trucks are 241-C's. Dodge 241's are not C's.
An NP246 is worth a lot more than a boring 241 d-drop 27 spline case. Don't go getting hosed in the name of a little quickness.
This is a NP-241 Transfer case for a drivers side front drive shaft, with 27 teeth on the Female input spline. This case will mate up with a TH350 or the 700R4 / 4L60-E Automatic Transmissions...WITH THE PROPER ADAPTER-Not Included. It came out of a 1989 Half Ton K1500 pick-up, and was yard tested. Our Tag # 002467
This generation NP241-C will fit 1988 to 1994, as it has a round mounting flange for the front drive shaft.
Input Spline: We have run into two different input spline configurations on these cases.
27 spline: The units supplied with a T350 or 700R4 automatic have a 27 spline female input shaft. THIS IS THE LISTED CASE!
32 spline: This is the preferred shaft, as it is the strongest. These came behind Turbo 400 or SM465 transmissions & the 5 speed standards. NOT LISTED IN THIS SALE
So i just called the guy it had a tubro 400 in the 1500 sub, So it was diffrent. I need one with a 700r4.
So that would be a bad trade lol 2 cases for one.
