So my stuff finally arrived Saturday. After doing a full paint correction with my Porter Cable, Chemical Guys V36, Hex logic pads, then a full coat of JetSeal 109, and finally a full wax, I decided to get the under parts done.
2 cans of Eastwood Rust Encapsulator. Most of my frame was pretty good, the suspension is what had bubbles. I used a wire brush to take care of that. I will be hitting the frame with a coat of Eastwoods Rubberized Rust Encapsulator.
-Full frame
-Front and rear suspension
-Towing Package
-Under cab
-Some parts of the brake lines
-Tops of shock mounts
-Bottoms of Shock moutns (had 1 overspray.... because I was lazy, kicking myself now.)
-Under each wheel well after a good clean.
-Touched up a few spots on my bed from 2 years ago when I didn't have a trailer and had to load my snowmobile in the back of my truck, really sharp carbides.. only a few knicks, easy touchup.
Turned out pretty damn good!
Note: I did NOT do the center cross-member where the torsion bars are, or the exhaust. (yet)
It was hella bright out, I need a few spotchecks in the wheel wells... later.
