So I called rock auto and they told me the part numbers that were listed in this thread back around page 7 were never sold through there nor do they sell any brake lines or pedals. Anyone have the part numbers they ordered from there would help out A LOT! thanks!
Go to their online catalog and go to something like GMC/ 2004/ Sierra 2500/ 6.0 V8/ Steering/ Power Steering Pressure Hose and they are right there. They aren't under brake lines.

Now I am confused, because that pulls up different part numbers that what was listed originally. Comes up with a different ac delco part number also......

i just went to oreilies and asked for the p/s lines that go to and from the hydroboost unit on a 06 yukon

I'm a little leery about doing this mod but I can get all the factory stuff off an 05 1500hd for my 04 for probably around $100. The Truck hit a tree on the passenger side so all the hydroboost stuff looked untouched. I'm pretty tempted but you guys that have had problems make it sound like its not worth it when you have a good working vacuum set up?

I've looked up pump to hydroboost line for my Tahoe and it shows two different parts numbers, 26056834 26061454 for hydroboost models. Does anyone know the difference between these two and the one listed (15295853)? I've got a 99 Tahoe OBS. The cost jumps between 35 and 52 on Amazon for the different lines.

Just did this on my 05. Had to grind the firewall hole because the booster wouldnt fit. Bent the end going to my rack n pinion to make it work...was only a slight bend. Was a pain in the ass but well worth it. I didnt get a return spring for the brake pedal return. Im not liking the play the pedal has.

Need some help picking a power steering pump. I'm doing the hydroboost swap and my power steering pump has been giving me issues, plus I've got additional accessories that make it a pain to pull the power steering pump, so I want to replace it while it's out . I know I just need one of of a 3/4 ton or something with hydroboost, but my thing is that they have different part numbers and different prices. I also read a TSB about the newer "208" pump may resolve some ps issues with the older "207" ps pumps, and I don't know exactly which is which.

I'd appreciate any help. Thanks

Did this mod last summer after this thread was cross linked to the z71tahoesuburban forum. I used new p/s pump so no need for the t-fitting. Everything else per this write up. Hardest part was getting myself under the dash to get the retaining clip onto the new pedal. OMG, pita!

Otherwise, excellent write up and most excellent mod in conjunction with the bigger 07 and up calipers and 12" rotors. Stops my z71 suburban with much better authority. Night and Day!

I finally did this a while back. A few hiccups with the install. I would suggest making a template of the hydraboost bolt pattern out of cardboard to drill the hole for the offset bolt. And allow yourself at least 4 hours to do the entire swap and be patient. Installing the pedal, bolting the new hose into the back of the ps pump, and drilling the hole for the offset bolt on the booster mount were my biggest bumps. Overall, very satisfied and worth the money/work. I will more than likely be upgrading the ps pump to an hd style soon to feed the system a little better.

Mine whines more than sam

this won't work on the newer 07 and up half tons will it? I wouldn't mind brakes that were just a little stronger. Have already bought some stainless steel threaded brake lines for the truck but I was thinking I might as well do it all at once when I do
Been wondering this as I'd like to do it to our suburban if we keep it. But then again I rarely drive it so probably won't mess with it lol
