I have a 2001 gmc 1500 just changed the knock sensors but is still throwing a code for them.

Takes a few miles of driving for the code to go away. You could always rent a scanner for a parts store and delete it, to make sure it wont come back on.

did you change out the harness? Sometimes the harness will be bad too. Anything else done to the truck? Runs good?

I have a computer and no I didn't change the harness. Now my fuel pump is only pushing 20 psi. would that have anything to do with that if the motor isn't under the right load pressure with the fuel?

Youd know if wiring was bad. or i hope. Knock senors take a awhile to

How long were the knocks out? And how long have drove since?

Unplug the battery when you go to bed, put it back it back in, in the AM. Computer stores data, it'll figure itself out, now that it running right.

You'd know if the plugs where bad if you changed the sensors.

i dont think the pump could mess up the knock sensors but Id get that fixed asap.

The harness might be bad now that u messed with it. Was it brittle at all? Shouldve changed that while u were there.

We're the old sensors rusted bad? If they were did you clean the block after you removed the old sensors? If you didn't there could be some corrosion between the new sensor and the block causing issues. Double check the wiring connections as well and the sensor harness.
