I wouldn't have taken my moldings off to begin with if they hadn't turned yellow, but now that I don't have them, it makes my truck look 10x cleaner.
I see alot of white and pewter GM trucks where the molding has turned colors over time, hope mine doesn't but i guess the easy fix is to demold but I'm like 6shooter demolding looks much better on nbs trucks than it does nnbs

Love both trucks man! They both have that real clean looking style to them. I have a white nnbs and am wanting to do something very similar to yours.
Thank you, I'm blessed to be able to bond with my dad through trucks and cars. He taught me the importance of dressing up a vehicle with a little chrome but not overdoing it haha. Good luck with your truck I'd like to see it when you're finished.

LML is the newest version of the duramax and the LMM is the the version from the years 07-11 (I think, don't quote me on the years)

by the way what kind of wheels are you running man? they look good from what I can see in your sig

Thanks man! Yea that's it. Only time I rub is backing up at full lock. I'll whore out another pic

yup im jealous. love those rims

I can't tell a difference in the stock ranchos on mine and the black $3 ones on my previous truck :imo

After much consideration I demolded today when I got off work, and took a couple of badges off the tailgate. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out but something's still off with my truck, it's just not looking the way I want it to. I'm going to get some chrome 20X10's soon then do something with my hideous exhaust and go from there. Step bars and Z71 stickers may or may not come off in the near future as well, I need to change up several things, just undecided at the moment.

You don't need a 3" kit or a bl. Get it leveled out and 295/70-17's will fit. I have them on my and I don't scrub even at full lock. You turn and hit a good hill quick or a steep driveway and it will. But other than that your all clear you can look at my pics.
295/70-17's are smaller than 295/70-18's

this x1000

I've had TWO nnbs and they both rubbed with 33x12.50 on leveling kits. Rubbed metal, not just plastic.

Don't be upset when you put them on and they start rubbing. Just saying. Lol
You rub because you have wheel spacers which look great btw but if you take them off 33s will fit on stock wheels with or without a level

That's weird I guess every truck is different i could fit 33s on both nnbs i had and my dad's nnbs as well before and after leveling

Both the black and silver trucks are real clean. In regards to the black one, I was in a similar boat as you with the steps, it looks much better without the steps when its leveled IMO. You will be glad you took them off IMO.
My truck came from the dealer with GM steps installed. Otherwise, I wouldn't have any. Once I noticed how much protection they offer from rock chips I won't be taking mine off unless I do a full lift. I actually think they look better on a leveled set up than a lifted. Mine are also mounted to the body so they help hide some of the frame exposed by my body lift.

Yeah they are, but I'm not really sure what they are called. I rarely see them around.
I love those wheels and have never seen them ever.

Well after trying 4 different level kits to get the look I was going for I did the TP 2.5 with 2 inch blocks stacked on the factory blocks and I got a little rake, I originally did it with the factory block and it was too much Cali then I did the 2 inch block by itself and still had Cali, so I did the stacked blocks and got the look I wanted. I added a set of 275/70/18 wrangler MTR with Kevlar and I have to say I'm quite impressed with the way it turned out. For some reason I can't get my pics to load in my post but they are in my album if you want to check it out.
Where's them ranchos?
