All I've got for now. 2008 5.3L
2" level (top strut spacer)
Plasti dipped wheels, rear bumper, front bumper plate. Color matched bowties.
Stock Bridgestone 265s for now. Hardly 20k on em, but hopefully some 295 Duratracs in the near future.

Had grille plasti dipped here too, but didnt like it and went back to chrome. Hopefully will be color matching it this summer.

Thanks. Took me over a year to finally notice those wheels and pick them up. I spent ages searching all the typical brands, BMF, Worx, XD, Fuel etc, but most of the wheels offered are too flashy for my taste, or wrong offset, or just didn't even offer wheels in 17".

I prefer more rubber and less wheel too, I appreciate the look on most of the trucks on here that mostly run 20's, but prefer to keep my truck looking subtle, with traditional and almost factory-ish styling. I like to think of my truck as how it should have looked from factory... not several inches lower running +31 offset 7.5" wheels and 245/70's that look like I borrowed them off a Honda civic
Yeah simple wheels like those are just great looking, good find! And haha yeah I couldn't agree with you more on everything else

Yeah. Been looking for pics of these in a 305/55 ever since I saw that 295 list price on Tread depot. Until I see pics I'm about convinced it's a mistake. Just hoping they are truly available when it's tire time. Really liked my Cooper ST's I had on on my last truck. These look like the right balance of aggressive and streetable that I'm looking for. Cooper just needs to offer more sizes in a tire other than the STT.
X2. Want the maxx's in the 295/70/18 bad!! Love the look of the nitto trail 295/70/18s on just a level with some trimming, but I think these would make a little more sense for mostly road use but still looking awesome. I started a topic on here looking for pictures of em also and can't find em. Couple 35x12.5x20 is closest I've found

Has anyone found any accelerated wear on front end components with their leveling kit?

I just came into a 2013 Z71 and want to level it with 285s on the factory 17s, but I put a lot of miles on the truck and don't want to be going through front ends as often as I did my '98 before the solid axle swap.

Also, I'm just looking into a 2" bottom spacer. They all seem to be about the same, just from mild investigating. Any one different from the other? Particularly, the one I'm looking at is the 2" TGC steel kit.

Thanks.

I noticed cv boots ripped not too long after my 2" level. Not for sure if it's directly related but I've heard of it happening.

That turned out nice! How much did it cost to have done? I've been battling it on my 08 as well even with flaps. Just sanded down and bedlined part of my rockers a couple weeks ago, but I know chips and rust will be back. Getting sick of touching up the doors.

Anybody thinking about getting the new BFGoodrich All Terrain KO2? Looks pretty cool for the guys like me who don't quite want to commit to the mud tire world. I have 305/65-18 BFG All terrains on my truck now but am about due for some new tread. Torn between the new KO2 in a 35, or a trail grappler or open country. Just searchin for some input if anyone has anything throw it at me! Here is an old pic, ill take some new ones and put up!

That's where I'm at too. Don't want an MT but some ATs are not aggressive enough. This KO2 fits the bill though. Get em so we can all see!

Ok time to whore!

Ok you're my hero. I've been wanting the ST maxx 295/70/18 for a while now on my leveled '08, but NOWHERE to be found a 1/2 ton with this size to see what it looks like. Thank you for getting these tires. How do you like them?
Did you trim at all or NorCal mod since they are a 34"?
Do they rub?
