I've been looking for larger tires for my 18" stockers....seems there isnt near as many options as the 17" or 20" wheels. I really like the look of the 295 70 17. they are about 33.5 tall x 12 wide. looks just about perfect for a leveled truck.

Look at the size 275/70/R18. Pretty close to the same height, just a little more narrow. I've been thinking of trying to find some Z71 18's so I can run this size tire instead of my 17s with a 285 or 295.

i like a little more width. 295- 305 is about right for stock 8 inch wheel I think. I'd like to go with a 305 65 18, but the only tire i can find that size is a BFG A/T. I had that same tire on my old truck and it was an excellent tire as far as wear, but its just not aggresive looking enough.

I've seen some trucks that are leveled that have 35's on them that I like, but I dont want the hassle of the tires rubbing on a brand new truck, and I sure as hell dont want to be hackin on my metal.

Total Performance 2.5 with 1.5 rear blocks added. Stock wheels and 295/70/17 Nittos

See how much more the fender well is filled on this truck than hoopties' truck?

I'm probably gonna have to go with the 33x12.50x18. I just wish someone made a tall 33" tire. most of th 33's measure up to about 32.8". Add that to what the 295 70 is yielding, and thats about 3/4 of an inch.

Why don't you trade your 18s for some 17s to get the 295s like you want. If you were close I would be happy to trade.

Check out my truck for an example. I have 275/70/18s with 1.5 body lift and 2.5 leveling kit...
