got my subthump box for my nnbs gmc cc and put some sundown sd2 10s in it and they lay on the floor so do not buy subthump if you have a sub with any lip at all. guess I am going to have to raise the box so they don't thump on the floor
no just the pad below the carpet. Its glued to the carpet as is but you can separate it and put the carpet back and no one can tell.so you are saying cut the carpet?
A carpeted piece of wood would match the box and serve its purpose.seems like what i will have to do. but it is laying on the floor no doubt in my crew cab. what would you recomeend using for a spacer to make it clean looking? also going to test that amp on a buddys sub tomorrow.
SD2 10's do have a larger gasket but a tad, but the surround sticks out further. I think its more the particular style of NNBS that is the issue and how the carpet rolls.must be the nnbs or sd2 10s.... my 8s in subthump have about 1" clearance or more
